Service includes blowing leaves from beds, hardscapes, and turf, then either bagging for curbside pickup or hauling off-site. You choose the disposal method based on your municipality's pickup schedule or preference for immediate removal.

"Late October through mid-November works best, before the first hard freeze when leaves become wet and matted. Scheduling in this window prevents turf damage from prolonged leaf cover and makes removal easier before leaves compact.

Both options are available. One-time cleanup handles the entire season at once. Recurring packages include two visits in November and December, or three visits spanning October, November, and December for properties with heavy leaf fall.

Bagging works when your trash service accepts yard waste and pickup timing aligns with your cleanup schedule. Hauling removes leaves immediately regardless of municipal schedules and works better for high-volume properties where bagging becomes impractical.

Leaves left past mid-November trap moisture against turf through freeze-thaw cycles, creating dead patches and fungal conditions. Removing them before the first hard freeze prevents suffocation and allows grass to harden off properly for winter.

Whole leaves mat down and suffocate plants, but shredded leaves work as mulch in ornamental beds. If you want leaves left in specific areas, shredding is necessary to prevent moisture trapping and pest harboring that whole leaves cause.

Wet leaves become heavy and stick to turf, requiring more labor and sometimes multiple passes to remove completely. Scheduling flexibility helps avoid post-rain cleanups, but once leaves are soaked, they're harder to blow and take longer to collect.

Oaks and some maples hold leaves into December, while ash and locusts drop earlier in October. Properties with mixed species benefit from multi-visit packages that address staggered drop times rather than waiting until all trees are bare.
